Vocalis Group plc Allotment of sharesThe directors of Vocalis are pleased to announce that the company has today allotted 2,198, 700 ordinary shares of 5 pence each. Authority to allot these shares was granted at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 19 July 2000. These shares are being placed by Credit Lyonnais Securities with institutional and other investors at a price of 230pence per share to raise approximately £5.0 million (net of expenses) and will be used to fund the Company's continued development. Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange respectively. ("Admission") and upon Admission these shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued ordinary shares. This announcement has been authorised pursuant to Section 57 of the Financial Services Act by Credit Lyonnais Securities which is regulated in the United Kingdom by the Securities and Futures Authority Limited.
