Vocalis partners with S2 to provide end-to-end banking solution Combined best-of-breed technology allows financial institutes to put voice to work

London 20 September 2001 Vocalis, the leading UK provider of voice driven solutions, today announced that it has entered a partnership with S2 Systems International, a global provider of business solutions for the financial sector. The companies have joined forces to provide a complete voice driven interaction system that enables customers to conduct transactions using voice commands.

Using this solution, customers of financial institutions, for example, will be able to conduct complex transactions, including balance enquiries, fund transfers and overdraft requests, from any telephone, without having to speak to anyone. The new voice driven system addresses the chronic staffing and cost problems facing banks by alleviating the pressure on agents in call centres.
