Netlife to use Vocalis technology in automated banking demonstrationVocalis, the international speech technology Group, is pleased to announce the receipt of an order for Vocalis SpeechWare from Netlife, provider of e-banking and e-brokerage applications to the European financial services market. Netlife will incorporate Vocalis speech recognition technologies into its Multi Business System, used by banks and other financial services providers in e-banking and e-brokerage solutions. Vocalis SpeechWare is the company's core Advanced Speech Recognition (ASR) technology available for integration with 3rd party applications. Netlife will incorporate Vocalis SpeechWare into an automated banking demonstration, to their financial services sector customers. This will allow users trying the Automatic Teller System to interact easily and naturally, using spoken commands to navigate the system. The second phase will be deployed in French and Spanish, further strengthening Vocalis's expertise in multi-lingual applications. Vocalis SpeechWare is the state of the art Advanced Speech Recognition (ASR) technology developed by Vocalis, offering both software and hardware based variants. Vocalis SpeechWare combines powerful ASR functionality with extremely high density and scalable architecture. This allows telephony operators, system integrators and other OEMS to integrate ASR facilities into their networks and products very cost effectively.
