Vocalis Group plcBoard Announcement Vocalis Group plc, the Cambridge based speech recognition and telephone company, today announces that Jonathan Hart, Sales Director, resigned from the board of the Company and left employment on 31 December 1998. Jonathan Hart said "I believe it is an appropriate time for me to seek new challenges. Vocalis has made great steps forward over the past two years, winning substantial contracts to supply IVR and speech systems to major telecom network providers in Europe, Asia and the Americas. As the Vocalis product range grows and diversifies it is now a good time for someone else to pick up the reins and build further on our achievements." Vocalis CEO, Charles Halle, said "Jonathan Hart has made a significant contribution to the development and growth of Vocalis, particularly in building our strong relationship with Ericsson Telecom AB. I would like to thank Jonathan for his professionalism, enthusiasm and personal commitment to the business." The company is actively seeking a replacement and in the meantime Charles Halle will be responsible for leading the sales team. |
