VOCALIS APPOINTS GRAEME W. SMITH AS DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC MARKETINGVocalis, the voice technology and call processing specialist, today announces that it has appointed Graeme W. Smith as its Director of Strategic Marketing. Graeme will drive the companys global strategic development by identifying new markets and new applications for Vocalis technology and products. His primary objective is to build strategic sales and technology licensing partnerships with key players in the telecommunications and cellular industries. He will be based on the east-coast of the US, in Boston MA. Graeme has over 12 years of product management, marketing and development experience. He joins Vocalis from Fidelity Investments, one of the worlds largest financial services companies, where he was director of product line management for voice systems integration. Prior to this he spent eight years at BBN Inc. working on the launch and development of BBNs HARK family of speech recognition products. Jeremy Peckham, chief executive officer of Vocalis, comments, "Graeme brings comprehensive marketing, business development and technical skills to Vocalis, together with a sound understanding of CTI, telephony-based systems and voice recognition technology. As a member of the management team, he will play a key role in the further expansion of the companys sales throughout the world."
