The Executive Team
	Paul Wright, Chief Executive Officer Paul Wright joined Vocalis in February 2000 as Finance Director and has overall responsibility for ensuring Vocalis delivers commercial solutions to the market. This has involved internal restructuring and a focused commercial approach. He has many years of experience in rapidly growing high technology companies, with worldwide experience of public limited companies. Previous senior financial roles have included CWB Systems Services plc and Rolfe and Nolan plc.
	Alan Butterworth, Head of Sales Alan Butterworth joined Vocalis in November 2002 and is responsible for the implementation of the sales strategy for the company. Alan has many years experience of business led solution sales within the IT services, outsourcing and call centre industries. His previous Sales Director roles includes IT services company CMG and outsourced Contact Centres specialist 7C where he focused on a range of market sectors including Utilities, Transport / Logistics and Financial Services.
	Ian Donald - Head of Product Management Ian Donald joined Vocalis in 1996 as part of the Operations team which developed into responsibility for all key customer projects worldwide, including some of the largest systems Vocalis has installed, together with responsibility for the associated support infrastructure. In 2001 he was appointed Head of Product Management with responsibility for the technical direction of the Group. Previous to joining Vocalis Ian has worked as a senior systems engineer at Ericsson and at BT Research Labs at Martlesham Heath.
	Tamsin Seymour - Company Secretary & UK Finance Director Tamsin Seymour joined Vocalis in September 1997 as Financial Controller and was appointed as Finance Director of Vocalis Limited and Group Company Secretary in April and July 2001 respectively. Since joining she has implemented the internal control and financial management systems within Vocalis. Having qualified with a medium-sized firm where she gained considerable experience in audit and corporate management, she is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
	Trevor Thomas, Chief Scientist Trevor Thomas joined Vocalis in 1993 from Logica and his principal responsibility is to direct the research and development needed to build the group's technology base for the future. He completed his doctoral research in Speech Synthesis and followed this by research at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Over a period of seven years at Logica he led a team which was responsible for speech recognition and speaker verification technology which has now transferred to Vocalis.
	Richard Watrasiewicz, Group Operations Director Richard Watrasiewicz joined Vocalis in April 2002 as Group Operations Director with overall responsibility for operations and delivery of customer solutions. He has many years experience of successful solutions deliver across the full spectrum of financial services industry and in growing operations and delivery capabilities. Previous roles include TCA Consulting Ltd (part of the Terence Chapman Group plc) where he was a Director of the Retail Financial Services practice and EDS (UK) Limited.
Non-Executive Directors
Kenneth Hill, Non-Executive Chairman Ken Hill joined the Board of Vocalis as a non-executive director in April 1999 and was appointed Chairman in December 2000. He is Vice Chairman of City of Exeter Orchestra, is Chairman of Eden Project Ltd and a trustee of Westcountry Rivers Trust. He was previously Group Finance director of Pennon Group plc
Colin Garrett, Non-Executive Director Colin Garrett joined Vocalis as a non-executive director in March 2001. He was formerly the Head of Plc Advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Midlands. Previously, Colin was a Director of Corporate Finance at Albert E Sharp. He has advised a number of private and quoted technology companies and worked closely with managements on their strategy and plans for growth. Colin is a non-executive director of Cadcentre Group plc, Mettoni Group plc and Recognition Systems Group plc. He is also non-executive chairman of 3G Comms Limited and ZBD Displays Limited.
Stephen Lawrenson, Non-executive director Stephen Lawrenson joined Vocalis as a non-executive director in March 2001. He was formerly Managing Director of the Met Office Commercial Division and a director of WeatherXchange Ltd. Prior to this he was Head of Commercial Development at Canon Research Centre Europe, where he was particularly involved in speech recognition. Before joining Canon, Stephen was Head of Worldwide Commercial Development at News Datacom (now NDS Ltd), the technology arm of News Corporation.
